Hello April!! Unbelievable we are now entering into second quarter of 2014 and wedding season has been in full bloom over here! Loads of things have been happening for the first three months of the year and make us realized that sometimes the very things that we fight against, the very things that we think are trying to pull us down, are actually the hand of God trying to push us into a new seasons. Don’t approach change from a negative point of view, embrace it and you will find out that it’s the seasons of growth in our lives. Trust in God and step into the fullness of what He has in store. No effort that we make to attain something beautiful is ever lost. Think that pretty much sum up our first quarter of 2014! (:
*Small little plant that we bought recently in office and we put inside the dusty blue vintage cup (since it’s still small, but may need to transfer to bigger jar/can soon). Love to see how it grows!!
Done with the plant! ^^ In this post, we are so delighted to share that Wedding Diary have been chosen and featured in Blissful Brides Magazine issue 19 (Jan-Jun’14).
Although this post come a little late, due to hectic schedule that we have plus waiting for the professional shots. But nevertheless it doesn’t reduce the joy and excitement that we had to share this little creation. We hope it can give you some ideas and inspiration while planning your wedding.
There are 2 themes we did for their Solemnization spread; First one featuring ‘The Great Gatsby‘ inspired wedding and influenced by vintage 1920s flapper styles like feathers, sparkling embellishments, pearls, Jazzy dancing music, vintage touch, geometric shaped. With white, black and gold colors palette to compliment a sense of class and glamour. The photoshoot took place at the deluxe Singapore Hotel, Royal Plaza on Scotts (at Orchard)
*Solemnization table styling with white feathers in tall glass jar arrangement, gold and bronze votive candle holder, pearls and some gold dust confetti. As for the Bride & Groom chairs: we decorated with draping pearls to compliment the elegant yet classy gold Tiffany Chairs with white cushions.
*Table centerpiece with white feathers in tall glass jar arrangement, flowers in mason jars tied with black ribbons, candles light and some gold pearls. And to complete the whole table setup we also customized the table number, love notes for the guests, and small bottle of Remy Martin as the wedding favor.
*custom made marshmallow dipped in the gold dust to add on sparkling embellishments during the pre-cocktail; pair it with Rose champagne or dessert wine (i.e. Moscato d’Asti) for the perfect taste! Sluurp~!!
*One of the canapes, made by the hotel chef (nom nom…)
Hope you enjoyed!! Have a lovely and fruitful weekend all!! (:
P.S. we will share the second theme in the next post! Stay tuned!
